Joe has spent over two decades in managerial duties in the retail world. His desire to be close to family led him to the Youth Performing Arts Training Center. Joe has a vision that the YPATC is and always will be a place where people can learn and build their character. He believes every child should have the opportunity to find their passion. Whether it be in acting, art, dance, or music. He wants to help provide the opportunity to all of them so they can chose to do what makes them happiest and helps them to succeed. The YPATC isn’t just for learning, it is for bringing out the hidden talents our kids hold.

Justin Romero has been dancing since he was three years old. He got his start on high school dance team called “Avant Garde” at the Deland High School. He has also made All County for the past two years. All County (top 20 dancers in Volusia county). Justin learned to dance salsa and merengue at his Grandmothers house where his first dance partner was a broomstick that he used to sweep the floors with. As time went on he joined his aunts baton twirling group, by the age of 7, he had performed in his first hip hop routine with a team. After that he stopped dancing to pursue karate but felt dance was calling his name. So he started a Zumba class with his father to help motivate him. After doing Zumba for nearly a year he finally moved from the back of the room to the front and with that it changed his entire perspective on life and what he felt about dance. By age ten he performed in a major Zumba event to help raise money for breast cancer and performed his very own choreography piece in front of 500 people. At the age of twelve Justin received his Zumba instructor license making him one the youngest Zumba instructors in central Florida.
